Healing of Two Blind Men (Matthew
9:27–31)
In this powerful moment, two blind men
follow Jesus, crying out, “Son of David, have mercy on us!” Their
persistence reflects deep faith, even before receiving their sight. When Jesus
enters the house, He asks them a profound question: “Do you believe that I
am able to do this?” They respond with confidence, “Yes, Lord.”
Moved by their faith, Jesus gently
touches their eyes and says, “According to your faith let it be done to
you.” Instantly, their eyes are opened, and light fills what was once
darkness. This miracle is not only about physical healing but also about
spiritual insight—faith becomes the key that unlocks restoration.
The scene reminds us that true vision
begins with belief. Where there is faith, there is transformation; where there
is trust in Christ, there is light.
